BIOGRAPHY
JJ is a native New Yorker and photographer whose work celebrates the raw, unfiltered beauty of life. Her self-published zine Disco Pussy Syndrome captures New York City in the late ’90s and early 2000s through intimate portraits of friends and moments of authenticity, transformation, and connection, with a strong presence of queer culture.
Her work often investigates personal narratives and cultural intersections,
These themes continue to shape her practice today.
She divides her time between New York City and Sydney, Australia.
